Since its inception in 2006, Catholic Athletes for Christ (CAC) has enjoyed strong strategic partnerships with various Catholic organizations to advance the evangelization of the Faith throughout athletics.  In addition to its day-to-day working relationships with parishes, dioceses, clergy, professional athletes, and professional sports teams, CAC maintains on-going working relationships with leading Catholic organizations including:

Knights of Columbus

Since its inception, CAC has maintained a strong and close alliance with one of the largest Catholic organizations in the world – the Knights of Columbus. In recent years, CAC and the Knights have worked together on a variety of events and projects, including the Knights’ Coats for Kids event at Super Bowl XLVIII and a Special Olympics Football Mini Combine in Indianapolis in 2014. The Knights have also sponsored and hosted a number of other CAC events and programs. Founded in 1882, the Knights are world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization with more than 1.8 million members in 15,000 councils.

Augustine Institute

CAC works with Augustine Institute in the recording and distribution of talks by Catholic athletes and priests at CAC-hosted events. Augustine Institute specializes in promoting the Catholic Faith through high quality presentations on audio CDs and MP3s from many of the best Catholic speakers in English and Spanish. Augustine continues to expand its outreach by offering additional forms of media, including books, booklets, pamphlets, and more. CAC’s Vin Scully Rosary recording is featured on Augustine’s Formed on-line streaming media site.

Ballpark Day of Faith

CAC is a proud supporter of the Ballpark Day of Faith events that have been held annually in Milwaukee, Wis., since 2011. The Ballpark Day of Faith brings together Catholics and invited friends, family, and co-workers to celebrate Mass prior to a Milwaukee Brewers game, following by fellowship during the game.

Carmel Communications

CAC works closely with Carmel Communications in the pre-release promotion and marketing of feature films related to sports and virtues. Carmel Communications is a communications and consulting agency with a unique specialty in promoting a faith and family culture, particularly those which bridge the gap between the sacred and the secular.

Global Football

CAC partners with Global Football, the world’s largest exporter of American football since 1996. The organization has organized and produced games and events in 28 different countries on 6 continents.  The events and tours have involved more than 350 teams and 15,000 curious travelers, each encountering a positive life-changing experience, while enjoying the ultimate team-building opportunity.

Holy Cross Family Ministries

CAC partners with Holy Cross Family Ministries’ Family Theater Productions on its annual baseball retreat in California as well as video projects including the Faith Bowl series. Family Theater Productions evangelizes the culture by using mass media to entertain, inspire and educate families. Since 1947, Family Theater Productions has produced more than 600 radio and TV programs featuring hundreds of celebrities, with more than 10,000 broadcasts worldwide.

Mike Sweeney Catholic Baseball Camps

CAC is a proud sponsor of Mike Sweeney’s Catholic Baseball Camps. The three-day camps are authentically Catholic and include baseball activities and instruction from leading MLB talent as well as Mass and Confession. The campers not only see their baseball skills improve, they also watch their faith come alive.

Sports Faith International

Sports Faith International is a Chicago-based initiative dedicated to inspiring and transforming our culture through the world of sports. It will utilize the best of new and traditional media to feature and encourage the powerful personal testimonies of outstanding athletes at all levels, who are living out their faith on and off the field.

Varsity Catholic

Varsity Catholic was launched in 2007 as its parent organization, Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), realized the unique needs and challenges student-athletes face. Currently serving 15 college campuses, Varsity Catholic serves as the premier outreach for collegiate athletes and is known for helping develop young men and women into inspirational leaders on their campus and across the globe.
